Nice Noise

Nice Noise was a show on Thursday night with heavy metal music, sometime around 1994.

This show was hosted by "metal heads": Jan, Killer, Rudy en Spike (in the beginning supported technically by Nico). To say the least, words were flowing freely, on-air, by evidence of the language they used.

In that time there were regular metal performances in a rock cafe in Maasmechelen, the Pavlov's Dog. In Nice Noise there were regular phoned-in reports of someone in the bar who reported on the performance of the night and who let the Nice Noice audience hear some through the phone. If you know that this was a bad phone line combined with rock-hard metal in the surroundings of a bar with poor acoustics, this resulted in a lot of bad noise on the radio.
